Tipperary Mineral Water
Refreshment From The Emerald Isle
Ireland may be celebrated for its stouts, but it is also home to another satisfying beverage—and this one won’t leave you feeling foggy the next morning. The first Irish mineral water ever to be granted Natural Mineral Water Status by the EU, Tipperary water could be the ideal post-St. Patrick’s Day elixir.
Founded 20 years ago, Tipperary Natural Mineral Water Company has already flourished into a major Irish brand. Its water is sourced in County Tipperary at a depth of 300 feet. The source is protected by the Devil’s Bit mountains, which form a natural filter; and is covered in Devonian Sandstone, which provides the highest degree of filtration and protection.
Thanks to the pristine source, Tipperary water is exceptionally clean: the nitrate content is .5 mg/l; the magnesium is 25 mg/l; and the potassium is 17 mg/l. The 25 mg/l of sodium and 7.7 pH gives the water the tiniest hint of tartness. The loud but not overpowering bubbles of the sparkling water are perfect for mixed drinks, and it bicarbonates are beneficial for digestion. So, when you’ve had your fill of stouts, do your body a favor and pick up a couple of bottles of Tipperary water.
It’s certainly the logical choice for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration!
