“Green Cocktails” For Earth Day

Serve Drinks Made With A Planet-Friendly Vodka
& Commit To Other Ways You Can Help

360 Vodka was at the forefront of the green movement, distilling its vodka with eco-friendly technologies. The distilling process captures harmful by-products before they are released into the environment, for example, and certified Green-e energy is used to produce its labels and sustain its website. The 85% recycled glass bottle so attractive, you may want to keep it when the vodka is finished, to serve chilled tap water (another way you can help save the planet).

The company practices conservation and recycling at its offices—printing double-sided paper, using CFL bulbs, eliminating plastic utensils and polystyrene cups from break rooms, and continually looking at reducing its carbon footprint. Perhaps, while you’re enjoying a few of these cocktails, you can look around the room and take notes on how you can make adjustments in your lifestyle.

Cocktail Recipes: Greentini & Planetary Punch

Both recipes produce fresh, green-colored cocktails—for Earth Day, for spring.

Greentini

  • 2 ounces 360 vodka
  • 1.5 ounces melon liqueur
  • Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass
  • Garnish with a lime wedge

Planetary Punch

  • 1.25 ounces 360 vodka
  • 0.75 ounce melon liqueur

  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass
  • Drop a maraschino cherry in the bottom (the “planet”)

Eco
Anything pertaining to the positive interaction between manmade processes and the delicate organic balance found in our environment.

Eco Footprint
The total measurable effect that human related activities have had on the organic life in Earth’s environment: Pollution has left a large eco-footprint on the atmosphere due in part to the greenhouse gases that have been released.

Materials that are generated from resources that are managed in a way that they are, for all practical purposes, sustainable over an extended period of time (i.e., the resource is not depleted).

Volatile Organic Compounds
Organic chemical compounds that have high enough vapor pressures that, under normal conditions, allow them to significantly vaporize and enter the atmosphere, potentially inflicting damage on the environment.
