- Chocolate Almond Fudge Energy Bar. “Nutrition for Sustained Energy, Made with Organic Oats & Soybeans, High in Protein, No Trans Fats, All Natural, 70% Organic Ingredients, We Source Ingredients That Are Not Genetically Engineered.” First ingredient: organic brown rice syrup. Looks like a chocolate coconut macaroon in bar form. Quite chewy, not too sweet, slight chocolate flavor. Pleasant enough, but not special. Per bar (68g): 250 calories, 45 calories from fat, 1.5 g saturated fat, no cholesterol, 140mg sodium, 5g fiber, 20g sugars, 10g protein.
- CLIF Kid Organic ZBar (Chocolate Chip). Certified organic. “Baked Whole Grain Energy Bar, No Trans Fats, 12 Vitamins & Minerals, No High Fructose Corn Syrup, We Source Ingredients That Are Not Made Using Wheat And Are Not Genetically Engineered.” First ingredient: organic chocolate chips. Top is attractively drizzled with chocolate. Too sweet; flavors of various sweetening syrups and fig paste are overwhelming. Per bar (36g): 130 calories, 35 calories from fat, 1.5g saturated fat, no cholesterol, 100mg sodium, 3g fiber, 11g sugars, 3 g protein.
- CLIF Kid Organic ZBar (Honey Graham). Certified organic. Same claims as Chocolate Chip ZBar. First ingredient: organic rolled oats. Very chewy bar, drizzled with icing on top. Some graham cracker taste initially fades to an unpleasant flavor. Per bar (36g): 130 calories, 25 calories from fat, 2. g saturated fat, no cholesterol, 90mg sodium, 3g fiber, 10g sugars, 3g protein.
Curves Apple Streusel Chewy Granola Bars
“Naturally flavored.” First ingredient: chicory root extract. Pleasant cinnamon aroma; bars are drizzled with “icing” on top. Bar is slightly sticky to the touch. Light textured. Initial slight sweetness quickly overpowered by a massive rush of apple flavor, possibly from the dried apples that are one ingredient. Per bar (25g): 100 calories, 10 calories from fat, no saturated fat, no cholesterol, 75mg sodium, 5g fiber, 7g sugars, 1g protein. CurvesFoods.com

- Chocolate Cherry Granola Bar. First ingredient: organic rolled oats. Chewy, grainy. Chocolate chips and small bits of dried cherries are visible atop the bar. Not enough dried cherries and an odd, salty aftertaste.
- Dried Cherry. First ingredient: organic rolled oats. Chewy, grainy. A little salty, but not too bad. Not enough dried cherries.
- Peanut Butter & Chocolate Granola Bar. First ingredient: rolled oats. Crisp, crunchy, with a definite peanut butter flavor. Chocolate chips on top of bar. Occasional pockets of honey flavor in bar, but not too sweet. Very dry.
- Peanut Butter & Honey. First ingredient: organic rolled oats. More crisp than crunchy; light-textured. Fine peanut butter presence with a little salty sweetness at the end. Recommended.
