Infused Waters
Since we originally tasted O Water several years ago, the line repositioned itself from a flavored energy drink with names like Energize (Strawberry), Vitalize (Peach Mango) and Replenish (Lemon Lime) to a better-for-you sports drink. Although O Water’s infused flavors contain some sugar, they use a restrained hand. They’re just a tad sweet, doing justice to the essence of the fruits without losing the simplicity of water and venturing into sports drinks or juiceland.
With just 35 calories and 9 grams of sugar in 8 ounces, O Infused Water is much more calorically sensible, while still offering a nice dose of vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. Each 17-ounce bottle provides a quarter of the daily recommended value of magnesium, 200 milligrams of potassium and 21% daily value of zinc. Another addition is rosemary extract, which adds a touch of complexity to the fruit-flavored combinations. Like the unsweetened line, these infused waters provide the benefit of electrolytes.
The seven fruit flavors include:
- Black Raspberry Infused O Water. This flavor shares some of the qualities of the Wild Berries unsweetened O water, but with a touch of cane sugar, its berry flavor is milder and more appealing than the intense unsweetened version.
- Blueberry Infused O Water. We enjoyed the blueberry better than the black raspberry. Something about blueberries makes us think they’re attractive when they’re sweet, which means that the addition of cane sugar is a smart choice. Very enjoyable beverage.
- Coconut Infused O Water. This tastes like other coconut waters we’ve had, but with slightly more coconut flavor, and an especially strong scent. It makes us imagine we have broken open a coconut and are drinking the juice straight from the shell. It’s a nice change from the more traditional fruit flavors.
- Lemon Lime Infused O Water. The unsweetened Lemon & Lime is heavier on the lemon. Here, the lime is accentuated. The choice is yours.
- Peach Mango Infused O Water. The peach flavor hits you first, before blending into a mellow mango backdrop. This simple, slightly sweet combination won us over; we wanted to keep sipping on this all day. One might only imagine what it would taste like unsweetened, although that mango flavor may be easier to translate in a sweet form.
- Pineapple Orange Banana Infused O Water. Another standout in this line of infused waters, for us one of the top flavors in the line. We’ve had sickeningly sweet versions of this tri-fruit combination in juice form, which is why it is so refreshing and especially delicious when just lightly sweetened in the form of flavored water.

Perhaps the best flavor in the line, POB or Pineapple Orange Banana infused O Water. |
- Strawberry Pomegranate Infused O Water. A strawberry aroma floods the olfactory senses as soon as the bottle is opened, while the pomegranate presence lends tartness to the drink. It’s a winning combination that is sure to please many taste buds.
With or without sweetness, get ready to hydrate!
