Recipes: Vanilla Liqueur Cocktails
Red, White & Blueberry Cocktails For Independence Day, Labor Day & Any Day Fresh Fruit Is In Season
Blueberry Purée, Peach Purée and Raspberry Purée Pair Beautifully
With Vanilla Liqueur
Introduction
The fresh berries and peaches that are bountiful right now make beautiful, fruity cocktails for a warm summer day. For 4th of July, red raspberries, white peaches and blueberries create a patriotic trio of cocktails, sure to please Cosmo-weary guests.
Here, we present three fruit purée-based drinks, courtesy of Navan Natural Vanilla Liqueur. They’re a little bit different and a lot of fun! You can serve them as shots so guests can easily try all three, or as regular cocktails. Make them by the pitcher for easy serving. If you have budget constraints, use frozen fruit and adjust the sweetness.
You’ll need ripe peaches to make a good purée. Since many markets sell them hard, allow five days for them to ripen on the countertop (or two days in a brown paper bag).
