Aunt Gussie’s Sugar-Free Wheat or Spelt Cookies & Biscotti
These Diet Cookies Are So Tasty, Everyone Will Want Some!
Everyone on a sugar-restricted or wheat-restricted diet should know Aunt Gussie. The lady, who makes a very nice line of cookies for folks who can eat all of the sugar and wheat they like, also takes care of those who can have neither.
For those who hunger for tasty cookies with no sugar added, either made with traditional wheat flour or wheat-free, with spelt*, Aunt Gussie’s offers a selection of biscotti, biscottini, cookies, and meltaways. And, they’re kosher too.
*Spelt is a 9,000 year-old grain, often called the “grandparent” of common wheat, and one of the seven grains mentioned in the Bible. It’s delicious: We often prefer it to wheat. Spelt has a different gluten than wheat’s gluten, so can be tolerated by some people who can’t tolerate wheat.
Sweetened with maltitol and GMO-free, using yummy butter for the Chocolate Chip Cookies and the Pecan Meltaways, the two lines—wheat and spelt, both sugar-free (or no sugar added), include:
Almond Biscotti (Parve)
Chocolate Chip Almond Biscotti (Parve)
Hazelnut Biscotti (Parve)
Raisin Almond Biscotti With Chocolate Chips (Parve)
Walnut Biscotti (Parve)
Orange Biscottini (Parve)
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Oatmeal Cookies (Parve)
Pecan Meltaway
Sugar-free doesn’t mean calorie-free: the cookies will still “cost” you 60 calories apiece or so.
But, pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy!
Prices and product availability are verified at publication but are subject to change. Shipping is additional.
Bet you can’t eat one! Unfortunately, sugar-free
doesn’t mean you can eat the whole box: That pesky flour and that rich butter still have calories.
