Papa’s Holiday Apple Pie Recipe
Spiced Beer & Apple Pie À La Mode
Is It A Drink Or A Dessert? It’s Whatever You Want It To Be!
CAPSULE REPORT: If you like to drink beer and you like to eat dessert, this may be the recipe for you. A crustless apple pie à la mode is topped with foam made from holiday spiced apple beer—a novel dessert. Can you enjoy it with a spiced beer chaser? Of course!
Founded in 1867, the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company is the seventh-oldest brewery in the U.S. still in operation, and one of the oldest businesses in Wisconsin. Their seasonal brew now on shelves, Apple Spice Beer, inspired Las Vegas-based champion mixologist Tobin Ellis to create Papa’s Holiday Apple Pie. An apple pie dessert with a beer foam topper, it’s a unique recipe for holiday entertaining.
If you can’t find Jacob Leinenkugel’s Apple Spice Beer or a similar product, substitute a fruit beer. For more information about Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company and its beers, visit Leinie.com.

As always, use the best ingredients you can buy: the finest graham crackers, ice cream, and especially, apple pie filling will elevate the quality of your dessert from chain restaurant to fine restaurant.
