Pamela’s Gluten Free Products: A Beacon Of Gluten-Free Goodness
CAPSULE REPORT: Pamela has been making gluten-free foods since 1988. Over the years, she’s created an impressive lineup of foods, from baking mixes to packaged cookies and ready-to-eat cakes and cheesecakes.
We loved the brownies, cheesecake and just about everything we tried. The line is certified kosher by OU; some products are certified organic. Some are casein-free.

Pamela’s Products Overview
Pamela’s is a virtual bakery of gluten-free products. You can rely on top-quality products:
- Biscotti and cookies galore (including an organic cookie line) for dessert, snacks and entertaining
- Bread mix for loaves and pizza
- Cornbread mix for squares or muffins
- Brownie and cake mix for any time
- Pancake mix for breakfast
Pamela is prolific. Cookies offer everything from chocolate, chocolate chunk and peanut butter to ginger snaps and different flavors of shortbread.
If you want to bake brownies, the chocolate and vanilla mixes (with matching frostings) allow variations (add mint for mint chocolate frosting, for example).
The brownie mix is excellent. The cornbread is very good, too. We suggest adding finely chopped jalapeños to the mix and leaving out the optional sugar unless you want to make cornbread cake (delicious, with cream cheese frosting). We haven’t tried the bread mix yet, but it’s next on the list. |

The individual cheesecakes make every day a party.

We first got to know Pamela’s through the cheesecakes. Cheesecake itself has no gluten, but the crust does. Both components are wedded delightfully in the individual cheesecakes, which can be kept in the freezer.
