Julia's Pantry:
Yellow Grits

Great things come in small packages. Julia’s grits are truly delicious, and will have everyone wondering why they don’t eat grits more often. Far from being off-the-shelf supermarket grits, these are extra-fine, creamy and addictive. Serve them as a side with dinner instead of potatoes, or eat them with bacon and eggs. Kiss these grits!

Saratoga Chips:
The Original Potato Chips

The potato chip was created in Saratoga, New York in 1853. It was an immediate sensation, and Saratoga Chips (as they were sold nationally by other companies, the name was later changed to potato chips) were sold as souvenirs to visitors to this resort town. Now, the original potato chip recipe has been resurrected, and is sold in a reproduction of the original box. They’re delicious—read our full review of Saratoga Chips.

Umpqua Indian Foods:
Veggie Chips

We couldn’t stop eating these all natural, crunchy Veggie Chips. Dehydrated and baked—not fried—in canola oil with a bit of sea salt, the carrot, green bean, taro, squash and sweet potato retain their natural sweetness. It’s as delicious as eating candy, but much better for you. The shiny, black bags are resealable, but the veggies are so addictive, that may be a moot feature. Umpqua Indian Foods is a Native American-owned company.

    4-Ounce Bar

Urban Accents:
Mango Masala Seasoned Salt

A great seasoned salt changes everything it touches. We enjoyed this one in everything from salads and omelets to a cocktail rimmer. Sprinkle a few grains of this decorative salt (scoop included) atop meat or fish just prior to serving, or scatter grains on the plate as decor. It tastes and looks mah-velous.

  • Mango Masala Seasoned Salt
    5-ounce jar
    $7.50

World Harbors Barbeque Sauce:
Buccaneer Blends

For the barbeque lover, there’s a whole world of barbecue sauces from World Harbors. While many pirates were known for their ruthless acts, the buccaneers were named after the French word “boucanier,” which means “barbequer.” Caribbean buccaneers were skilled grillers of beef and pork! Give your favorite “buccaneer” one or more bottles of Buccaneer Blend. In Apple Maple, Fra Diavolo, Honey Mango, Mesquite, Sticky Rum, Pirate’s Original and Swashbucklin’ Spicy. The Apple Maple and Honey Mango were a bit sweet for us, but we think all buccaneers should decide for themselves.

  • World Harbors Barbeque Sauce
    Buccaneer Blends
    18-Ounce Bottle
    $2.50
  • 64-Ounce Bottle
    $6.42
