CAPSULE REPORT: Since 1979, Between the Bread has been catering to demanding New Yorkers. Thank goodness the growing demand for sophisticated cookie platters gave birth to Cookie Panache, because the cookies are simply wonderful. In a world where the cost of labor and ingredients to bake one’s own butter cookies is almost as much as buying the finest, Cookie Panache is a real find. Crafting twists on favorites that add layers of flavor, these cookies and biscotti have most definitely earned their panache.

Cookie Panache answers the ever-hanging question of what to give for personal and corporate holiday gifts, hostess gifts and thank-you gifts for loving relatives who treat you to Thanksgiving, and Christmas and Chanukah memories.*

Cookie Panache Overview

Panache is an interesting word. It entered the French lexicon in 1553, referring specifically to an ornamental plume of feathers.* The word evolved to also mean verve, style or flair, as with that well-known dandy, Yankee Doodle, who stuck a feather (or perhaps, a panache) in his cap and called it maccheroni.†

*Etymology: From the Italian pinnacchio, plume, which derived from the Late Latin pinnaculum, the diminutive of pinna, feather.    †The Italian word for dandy.

There’s no doubt that Cookie Panache has earned its panache.

All natural, made with superior ingredients and fresh out of the oven, the gourmet cookies and biscotti are super, packaged in lovely gift boxes and tied with satin ribbon (the cookies are long gone, but we’ve repurposed the boxes). Orders are baked in the evening for next-day shipping or delivery. The company is very experienced in large parties, weddings and special events, so don’t be afraid to throw large orders its way.
