Red Pepper & Eggplant Spread & Dip
Eggplant, sweet red peppers, tomato paste, are seasoned with garlic and some hot chile pepper.!
Try It With:
- With cheese
- As a condiment over chicken or fish
- Crostini
- Crudités—as a standalone dip or mixed with mayonnaise or yogurt
- With eggs
- On pasta or risotto
- In salad dressing
- On sandwiches

Spicy Red Pepper Spread & Dip
This was perhaps our favorite flavor, if only because of the palate-awakening level of chiles. We aren’t hot and spicy fans, but here, the sweet red peppers blended with hot chiles, parsley and garlic hit a home run. Use it as you would the Red Pepper & Eggplant Spread & Dip, for people who want more zip.
Our only suggestion is that such luscious products deserve a more glamorous label. The current one looks functional, almost generic, and we worry that it doesn’t have enough shelf appeal to people who don’t know the brand.
However, now that you do, spread the gospel, and give it as gifts. Even though it has a 30-month shelf life, tell the beneficiaries they shouldn’t wait that long to dig in. |
