Black Truffle Martini Recipe
Seriously folks, only Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Michael Bloomberg and their peers on Forbes magazine’s “The World’s Billionaires” list could regularly afford to infuse a bottle of vodka with eight black Périgord truffles. That’s about $2,000 worth of truffles! But if you happen upon so many truffles in the woods of Oregon that you’re sick of eating them, here’s a way to drink them. Ingredients Per Cocktail
Preparation
- To infuse vodka, add sliced black truffles into 750ml bottle of vodka for 1 week at room temperature.
- In a cocktail shaker, shake and strain all ingredients. Serve in a martini glass.

Classic Martini Recipe
Ingredients Per Cocktail
- 3 parts vodka
- 1/4 part dry vermouth
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 3 olives
Preparation
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add vermouth. Stir well and then strain out excess.
- Add 2 dashes of orange bitters and vodka. Stir well until outside of shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat.
- Strain into a martini glass and garnish with 3 olives.
