Kaboom Infinite Wellness Juice
Kaboom Infinite Wellness Juice is a fruit juice blend with no added sugar; a natural sugar substitute called erythritol is used for some added sweetness, so the final product is lower in calories but retains a natural taste. The wellness juices* have fewer calories than other wellness juice blends, with just 80 calories per 8-ounce glass. The same glass offers a good supply of antioxidants and vitamins, including 50% of the daily requirement of the entire Vitamin B complex (Vitamin B2, B3, B5, B6, B12), 50% of your daily folate and 100% Vitamin C. It’s meant to be a lower calorie, higher-vitamin alternative to Frutzzo, Naked, Odwalla and Pom Wonderful juice drinks.
*A wellness juice is a juice that has high levels of vitamins, antioxidants or both.
Infinite Wellness Juice Flavors
We liked the handsome glass bottles and their contents. If you are an orange juice person rather than a pomegranate juice person, you’ll like Orange Passion better than the Pomegranate Berry, but it definitely depends on one’s personal preference. Both of them do a good job of balancing acidity and sweetness, like real fruit. We suggest giving each of them a try (or even mixing them). Both make excellent breakfast drinks and cocktail mixers.
- Orange Passion. Slightly more familiar than the Pomegranate Berry flavor, the Orange Passion blend boasts complex tropical flavors like those contained in the Tropi-Cool energy juice, but also has a tart orange background like the Orange Buzzzz energy juice. The base is made of orange juice and white grape juice; the mellowness of the white grape juice pairs nicely with the acidic orange juice. But it was the complex tropical nuances that kept us sipping.
- Pomegranate Berry. The assertive berry flavor is a good match with the tart, dry pomegranate. Both are balanced out with a mixture of fruit juices, including white grape, apple, elderberry, pear and pomegranate, pear. This blend has a stronger grape flavor and is slightly sweeter than the Orange Passion, with one more gram of sugar (20 grams of sugar in an 8- ounce serving, versus 19 grams of sugar in 8 ounces of Orange Passion).
The reddish-purplish Pomegranate Berry could not be more different from the bright yellow-orange Orange Passion. However, they do share some common traits: Both are good sources of B and C vitamins, folate and antioxidants, and they are relatively low-calorie compared to other juices and juice blends. They’re both refreshing, and the frosted glass bottle is is A-list cool.
We believe that Kaboom lives up to its promise of providing energy and wellness to consumers (though we won’t promise you “infinity”)—not to mention good taste, extra healthiness and environmental consciousness from organic certification, and good community initiatives that you can read about on their website.
