Nibble Tip

For a delicious, light dessert, purchase three or four delicious sorbets in contrasting colors and flavors—grapefruit or pear, mango, and raspberry, e.g. Serve them in a dramatic dish or wine glass, a glass teacup, or even on a small brightly colored plate.  Garnish with grapefruit or orange peel (a curl of orange or lemon rind will do in a pinch) and a sprig of mint. Add some matching cookies your guests probably haven’t had before—like Byrd’s Key Lime Coolers and Razzberry Tarts—and you’ve got palate excitement without the prep work.
