  OverviewLet’s be perfectly clear: biscoff/spéculoos spread is no more a kids’ food than Nutella or peanut butter. Which is to say, its admirers cut across all age groups. Here are some quick ideas; three pages of recipes follow: carrot cupcakes, yogurt fruit dip and a lunchbox sandwich. Breakfast 
  Bread & Toast: Enjoy biscoff/spéculoos spread with bagels, toast or cinnamon raisin bread.Pancakes: Make a pancake sandwich or a waffle sandwich, with sliced fruit.  Lunch 
  Sandwich: Substitute peanut butter with biscoff/spéculoos spread on a sandwich:  plain, with jelly or with sliced bananas. Here’s a sandwich recipe that combines all three.  Snacks 
  Ladybugs On A Log: Fill celery stalks with biscoff/spéculoos spread, and switch the raisin “ants” for dried cranberry/Craisin “ladybugs.” Happy Face Snack: Spread a six-inch multigrain or whole wheat tortilla with biscoff/spéculoos spread. Make a “face” using matchstick or shredded carrots for the hair, sliced ends of plum tomatoes for the cheeks, halved pimiento-stuffed olives for the eyes, and two raisins or Craisins for the nostrils. Make the smile and eyebrows from string cheese whips. After admiring the face—and perhaps giving it a name—roll up the tortilla and enjoy. Banana Milkshake Or Smoothie: Combine in a blender a small, ripe banana in chunks with 1/4 cup biscoff spread. Blend until smooth. Add 1-1/2 cups vanilla yogurt or frozen yogurt, 1/4 cup milk and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon. Blend until smooth. Makes two servings. For a thicker shake or smoothie, freeze the banana chunks.
