Lobster Claws

Want something different at your Labor Day festivities? How about lobster claws? Connoisseurs know that the claws are the most flavorful part of the lobster. Tender and meaty, these can be added to a pasta dish, to a mixed grill seafood plate, or simply enjoyed by themselves. From Mackenzie Limited.

Saké Sangria

A fusion update, perfect for a barbecue or an afternoon break, this recipe is courtesy of Riingo, a Japanese fusion restaurant in New York City. You can infuse saké with any fruit by steeping it for 2 to 3 weeks in a jar with fresh and/or dried fruit. For one cocktail, combine:

2 oz rosé
1-1/2 oz pear-infused saké
1/2 oz peach liqueur
1 tablespoon mixed fresh fruit (suggested: apples, blood oranges, blueberries)
Splash of pomegranate juice
Splash of orange juice

Place ice cubes and fruit in large wine glass. Add the remaining ingredients, stir, and enjoy!
